Avrora VPN Account Deletion

Avrora VPN (the "Application", "we") allows users to fully delete their account and all associated data. Below are the instructions for submitting a request and a list of what will be deleted.

Method 1. Delete from within the app (recommended)

  1. Open the Avrora VPN application.
  2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
  3. Tap the Settings icon in the top-left corner of the home screen.
  4. Scroll down and tap Delete profile.
  5. Confirm the action in the popup by tapping Delete.

After confirmation, the account and associated data will be deleted automatically within 24 hours. Sign-in to that account becomes impossible immediately.

Method 2. Email request

If you have no access to the app, send an email to [email protected] with:

  • subject: Account deletion;
  • the email used to register the account (Apple ID or Google account);
  • any additional information that helps identify the account.

We will process the request and delete the data within 7 business days. A confirmation will be sent to your email.

What is deleted

When an account is deleted, the following is permanently and irreversibly erased:

  • authentication record (Firebase Authentication): email, name, provider identifier (Apple / Google), unique user identifier;
  • the device identifier (HWID) linked to the account;
  • VPN server request history and subscription status cache;
  • application settings stored on our servers.

Local data on the device (selected language, onboarding flag) is removed together with the application — uninstall it manually after account deletion.

What is retained and why

Some data must be retained by law or payment-system requirements:

  • Financial and tax records (purchase receipts, refunds) — kept anonymized for 3 years after the last transaction in accordance with tax law;
  • Security and abuse-prevention logs — kept anonymized for up to 90 days;
  • Apple and Google platform data (App Store, Google Play): active subscription information is managed by Apple / Google, not by us. To cancel an active subscription, use App Store or Google Play settings — deleting your Avrora VPN account does not cancel the subscription automatically.
